POSITION SUMMARY:
Ohio Ag Equipment is in search of a highly motivated individual analytically managing its used equipment inventory. This role will actively manage, govern and modify existing policies and procedures resulting in a dynamic, highly profitable, used equipment division and compensated accordingly. Daily monitoring of incoming trade-ins, current market trends and values, and managing current used inventory seeking new opportunities for distribution. Candidate must have an agricultural background with good sales aptitude and strong business acumen. An ideal candidate will have knowledge of current equipment market values and able to value incoming trades resulting in fast turns of used inventory. Participation in team meetings while being self-motivated to work independently will be critical for success in this role.
REQUIREMENTS & DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Proficient in the use of a computer and related software (Word, Excel, etc.), including utilizing customer relationship management system (CRM). Minimum of 5 years actively involved in Ag Equipment distribution. Entrepreneurial drive and work ethic Ability to work extended/flexible hours to meet customers’ needs. Ability to articulate thoughts and actions through clear, precise written, verbal or digital communication. Ability to analyze and interpret basic sales reports. Proven track record demonstrating ability to consistently achieve and exceed goals. Detail oriented with a high level of accuracy and assuring teammates accountable for details. Ability to perform duties with a sense of urgency, exceeding customer expectations. Excellent organizational skills. Ability to work in a dynamic fast paced environment. Travel throughout the Ohio Ag Equipment territory and outside of the Ohio Ag Equipment territory as needed.
