Reminder: Ohio AgriBusiness Association to Hold Third Annual Industry Conference

The Ohio AgriBusiness Association will hold its annual Industry Conference Feb. 4-5, 2015 at the Crowne Plaza Columbus North, providing education and networking opportunities for agribusiness professionals, including the OABA Industry Dinner and OABA Annual Meeting.

This will be the third year the Industry Conference has been held. More than 280 industry professionals attended the 2014 event.

“The 2015 OABA Industry Conference will build on the success of our previous conferences and focus on current topics and events that are pertinent to our members and Ohio’s agriculture industry,” said Chris Henney, OABA president and CEO. “This will be a valuable experience for attendees, with many opportunities for professional development.”

Widely-respected speakers and industry professionals will share their expertise relating to trends, technology and tradition in agriculture during the two-day conference. Topics to be covered include nutrient stewardship, unmanned aircraft systems and nitrogen management, as well as updates from the Ohio Department of Agriculture and The Ohio State University's College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences. Continuing education units (CEUs) will be available for both Certified Crop Advisers and state licensed pesticide applicators that attend the conference.

All-inclusive registration for the event includes admission to both days of educational programming and all meals, including the Industry Networking Reception & Dinner and OABA Annual Meeting. Registration fees are as follows:

Member: $250 ($325 after Jan. 9)

Non-Member: $400 ($475 after Jan. 9)
