CPS Announces Changes to East Cornbelt Leadership

With last week’s announcement of John Gillum’s retirement, Robert King, East Cornbelt region manager, announced changes to the ECB leadership roles effective September 1, 2016.

Jarrod Moss has accepted the Eastern Kentucky Division Manager position, replacing Mr. Gillum. Most recently Jarrod has held the position of ECB Wholesale Division Manager since 2011. Prior to that he held various roles with increasing responsibility in ag retail organizations such as Miles Farm Supply, Parrish Shop of Henderson, and Hancock Co Farm Supply. Jarrod and his wife, Julie will continue to live in Owensboro, Kentucky.

Mark Armstrong has accepted the role of ECB Wholesale Division Manager and Direct Ship Pricing Manager. Mark will also be responsible for the ECB Distribution Centers operation. Mark recently held the role of ECB Region Marketing Manager and completed 35 years with CPS. Prior to his recent role, Mark served in various positions within legacy companies including retail and wholesale leadership roles. He has been an integral part in leading the ECB in his tenure as the Marketing Manager and will continue to help lead the region in his new role as he focuses on growing the Wholesale and Direct Ship markets. Mark and his wife, Brenda, will continue to reside in Ohio.

John Oesch has accepted the role of ECB Region Marketing and Precision Ag Manager. For the last 5 years, John served the Southern Ohio Division as the Marketing Manager. Prior to joining CPS, he held increasing roles of responsibility at John Deere and Co-Alliance in Ohio. John’s unique experiences in the agriculture space will help grow the chemical business and the use of precision ag in the region. John and his wife, Lori, will continue to reside in Ohio.
