Bin entry/tech rescue training offered

GEAPS Seaway Chapter of Ohio is hosting a bin entry/tech rescue training program Aug. 19-22. The program will focus on grain bin safety and technical rescue procedures specific to commercial grain companies. The training is for both grain personnel and firefighters. The training will be done by the Safety & Technical Rescue Association.

Topics include

• Review of bin entry
• Atmosphere monitoring
• Fall prevention/fall protection
• Basic rope systems
• Patient packaging
