One check covers sponsorship of an entire year of OABA events

This year the Ohio AgriBusiness Association started the Sustaining Sponsorship Program, which allows participants to write one check for OABA event sponsorships.

Participating in the program saves time and the hassle of obtaining approval for multiple contributions throughout the year. This new sponsorship structure allows members to select one Sustaining Sponsorship level and receive promotional opportunities at all OABA events throughout the calendar year. Note that because the OABA Educational Trust is a 501(c)3 charitable organization, sponsorships related to this trust are separate from OABA.

“We are pleased to be able to offer this new opportunity for our members to support their association and be recognized for their contributions. We believe this program will continue to grow over the coming years as more of our companies understand the opportunities and benefits,” said Chris Henney, OABA CEO and president.

Sustaining sponsors will automatically be promoted as such at all 2014 OABA events and will not be approached for sponsorship opportunities throughout the year. We understand that OABA members have different needs, so we will continue to send individual event sponsorship opportunities to members who have not enrolled in the program.

So far this year, OABA has 14 participants who have made contributions ranging from $5,000 to $1,000 for a total of $32,000. Profiles of the sustaining sponsors will start appearing on the website and newsletter starting in June.

OABA has three levels of participation: platinum ($5,000), gold ($3,000), silver ($2,000) and bronze ($1,000).
