IPPE Launches Young Leaders "30 under 30" Program

 

The International Production and Processing Expo launched its third annual "30 under 30" program, a campaign that assists young leaders within the industry in need of financial resources and gives them the opportunity to attend the Expo.

The program's goal is to invest in and engage young professionals between 21 and 29 years of age who work for companies actively involved in the production and processing of animal food. The program is only available to members of the American Feed Industry Association, or members of other IPPE partners-American Meat Institute, North American Meat Association or U.S. Poultry & Egg Association.

The "30 under 30" program is designed to recognize professional leadership qualities and to provide exposure to the world's largest annual trade show involving the manufacture of feed and pet food products. The program also provides educational opportunities to participates, furthering the recipients training and exposing them to the latest technology used in the industry.

Selected applicants will receive a complimentary registration to IPPE hosted in Atlanta, Ga., from Jan. 27-29, 2015. The registration includes attendance to all complementary education programs. New this year, IPPE's "30 under 30" program is offering complimentary registration to one of the collocated paid education programs. The selected candidates will also receive two complimentary nights of lodging.

To be considered for this amazing opportunity, interested parties must submit their application by Nov. 1. No more than two applicants from a single member organization may be nominated. A panel of industry professionals will review the applications, and recipients will be notified of the panel's decision by Nov. 15.
