OABA Member Alert: USDA Makes $500 Million Available for Fertilizer Investment and Expansion Program
Application deadline August 17, 2026
The U.S. Department of Agriculture has announced that Rural Development is accepting applications for the Fertilizer Investment & Expansion for Long-term Domestic Supply Program. The program will provide United States farmers with more access to domestic fertilizer for producing agricultural commodities.

Ready, Set, Aim! Registration & Sponsorships Now Available for OABA Target: Scholarships
This fall the Target: Scholarships committee is planning an event at the Eagle's Nest Sporting Grounds in Mt. Gilead, Ohio to raise funds for the Ohio AgriBusiness Association Education Trust scholarship program. In addition to a day of sporting clays, OABA members have the opportunity to network with their colleagues, while they continue to support aspiring agribusiness professionals. This year's event will be held on September 11.
