OABA Welcomes Elizabeth Overholt as Student Intern

Elizabeth Overholt has joined the Ohio AgriBusiness Association staff as a student intern. Overholt is a junior at The Ohio State University and is majoring in agricultural communication with a minor in agribusiness. She will graduate in May 2017.

“We are pleased to have Elizabeth on board,” said OABA president and CEO Chris Henney. “Her previous internship experience and background in FFA is a great addition to our team.”

This past summer, Overholt had the opportunity to intern in the marketing department of Weaver Leather, where she provided key content for its catalog and website, coordinated logistics of various photo and video shoots, and participated in company-wide marketing initiatives.

Overholt grew up in Holmes County, Ohio and was a 2013 graduate of West Holmes High School. Throughout her youth, she was involved in 4-H and FFA. She served the Ohio FFA Association as its 2013-2014 District 8 President. During her year of service, Overholt had the opportunity to travel throughout Ohio and interact with FFA members, sponsors and industry representatives.
