Max Pennington

OABA DIRECTOR

Max Pennington is the General Manager & Secretary of the board at Farmers Elevator Grain & Supply Association of New Bavaria in NW Ohio.

He received his Bachelors Degree in Finance from The University of Toledo.

Prior to managing Farmers Elevator Grain & Supply, he was a merchant at The Andersons, Inc. There, he imported food & feed grade oats from Canadian assets & FOB origins into the US. Prior to that, he traded organic corn and soybeans across the US. He started his merchandising career trading a cross country corn, milo and wheat book in Texas where he also originated milo & hard red wheat for Port of Houston Export Facility. 

Max is a proud 5-year veteran of the United States Marine Corps where he served as a Sergeant at Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, San Diego. 

In Max’s free time, he can be found spending time with his wife Calla & their 3 children (Braxton, Brayden and Blair). He enjoys hunting on his property, fishing with his boys and boating on the weekends.
