(CGB), portfolio of companies, was founded in St. Louis, in 1969, and is known as an innovative and progressive leader in the grain and transportation industries. Today, CGB operates a vast network of over 113 facilities with over 1,800 U.S. employees overseeing a diverse family of businesses that provide an array of services for producers, as well as logistics services for an international base of customers.
How has your company changed over the years?
With over 50 years of experience, and headquartered in Covington, LA, CGB delivers solutions for the buying, storing, selling, and shipping of agricultural products to a global supply chain.
CGB has experienced significant growth, doubling its locations and the number of employees over the last 10 years. Today, CGB operates grain facilities primarily along the Mississippi, Ohio, Arkansas, and Illinois Rivers with access to barge, rail and/or truck across the Midwest and beyond. Additionally, the company has sizable operations in logistics and transportation, soybean processing, producer risk management, and other related businesses.
