Penn Millers Insurance Company is Changing Name to ACE Agribusiness

Penn Millers Insurance Company has announced that Rain and Hail agribusiness will join forces with Penn Millers agribusiness under the new name of ACE Agribusiness within the ACE Agriculture division.

The company will continue to operate in its current structure. There has been no change in ownership, staff or location; however, email addresses will be changing to reflect the new ACE Agribusiness name (example: first.last@aceagribusiness.com).

The new name reflects the expansion in business activities since Penn Millers was acquired by the ACE Group in 2011.

Penn Millers is based in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., and has served the agribusiness market since 1887. It is an underwriter of agri-related insurance in the U.S., providing specialty property and casualty insurance coverage to companies that manufacture, process and distribute agricultural products.

Rain and Hail LLC is headquartered in Johnstown, Iowa. Since 1919, it has worked with agents and growers nationwide to mitigate the threat of loss on the farm. Products include multiple peril crop insurance, crop-hail, fire and allied coverage, commercial agriculture and property coverage for farms and ranches.
